It amazed us in 2001, and thanks to its incredible aging properties, it still amazes us today. It’s the premier selvage denim we’ve used, and it’s one of the reasons Nudie Jeans exists. It’s our heritage. It was when one of our founders, Maria, set her sights on this particular denim that what is today Nudie Jeans began to take shape. And no wonder, for it’s exceptionally attractive – its warp is deep indigo, its weft is ecru and inspired vintage, its construction is tight, its hand is dry and it’s crisp as starch.
