Most t-shirts fail in one of two ways. They’re either cut so slim they read as trying too hard, or so boxy they look like you borrowed them from someone larger. The relaxed fit done well is actually the harder thing to get right, which is why so many brands get it wrong. What we’ve been looking for is that specific cut where the shoulder sits where it should, the body has some ease without swamping you, and the length works tucked or untucked without any awkward decisions. Fabric weight matters enormously here. Too light and it clings in the wrong places and loses its shape by lunchtime. Too heavy and you’ve lost the effortlessness that makes a great t-shirt worth wearing. The ones in this collection have earned their place. They work with tailored trousers, they work with shorts, and they look like a considered choice rather than an afterthought. That last part is the whole point.
