Most tech gloves fail at the first hurdle. They either look like something from a sporting goods catalogue, or the touchscreen function works so poorly that you end up pulling the glove off anyway, which defeats the entire point. Cold fingers and a useless phone. Not acceptable.

What we were looking for here were gloves that could pass as proper winter accessories while actually working with a smartphone screen. Leather that develops a patina. Lining that keeps you warm rather than just claiming to. Conductive fingertips across more than one finger, because anyone who has tried to type with only their index finger while wearing gloves knows how that ends.

We also looked at how they sit under a coat sleeve and whether the proportions work with a more tailored wardrobe. These are not afterthoughts. A great glove finishes an outfit. A bad one quietly unravels it. Everything in here passes both tests.
