← Accessories That Actually Get WornCuffed Beanies That Get the Details Right
The cuffed beanie is one of those things that looks effortless when it's right and slightly off when it isn't. The difference is almost always in the details. A cuff that's too deep makes your head disappear. A yarn that pills after three wears looks cheap regardless of what you paid. A fit that sits too high or pulls too low throws off the whole proportion of whatever you've got going on above the collar. We've worn enough bad ones to know exactly what we're looking for now. The knit needs structure without being stiff. The cuff should fold cleanly and stay there. The colour has to work with the rest of a wardrobe rather than fight it. We've also paid attention to how each one sits across different head sizes, because a beanie that looks good on one person and ridiculous on another isn't really well designed at all. These are the ones that have thought all of that through properly.
