The baseball cap has spent years being treated as an afterthought and it shows. Bad ones sit too high, the brim curves like a banana, and the adjustable strap at the back looks like it belongs on a rucksack from 1994. The good ones are a different thing entirely. Worn right, a well made cap pulls a casual outfit into focus in the same way a good watch does. It signals that you actually thought about it.

We have been particularly drawn to caps where the crown height is kept low and considered, where the fabric has some real weight to it, and where the adjustment sits flat rather than sticking out. Colour matters too. The wrong shade cheapens everything around it. The right one disappears into an outfit and makes the whole thing look more put together.

These are the adjustable caps we would actually wear out of the house without giving it a second thought.
